JEAN-NOEL RAGOT

Sales Director, New Yachts & Brokerage

Jean-Noel Ragot’s deep connection to the sea began during his childhood in Machiasport, Maine, where he dug clams and worked as a sternman on fishing boats. His love for boating was cultivated at Community Boating in Boston and summer camps on Point Judith Pond. By the age of 10, Jean-Noel was already crewing return trips from the Bermuda Race.

After pursuing lobstering and aquaculture, Jean-Noel spent 13 years with Atlantic Salmon of Maine, where he managed operations for large grow sites across Cobscook Bay, Machias Bay, and Frenchman Bay.

Jean-Noel joined Hinckley in 2004, starting as a mechanic in Southwest Harbor before transitioning to project management in the boatbuilding division. In this role, he delivered and trained new Hinckley owners across the U.S. and internationally, including destinations such as Italy, Germany, and the Turks and Caicos.

In 2009, Jean-Noel captained a Talaria 40 charter and later served as an owner’s representative for notable projects, including a custom Talaria 40 build. By 2011, he assumed leadership roles in service management, contributing to Hinckley’s reputation for unparalleled customer care.

With decades of maritime experience, Jean-Noel brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his role as Sales Director, ensuring every client’s journey with Hinckley is exceptional.
