SEREIA is a 2001 Mark Ellis designed Bruckmann 42 Cruising Sloop without peer. Fresh out of a major refit, every detail of her exterior and interior has been painstakingly brought to as-new condition. A great family boat, she is ready to take her next owners on memorable adventures today in absolute comfort and safety. Rarely has a boat of this size had so much love and care put into her and rarely does one find a sailboat of this size that offers so much.
She has an opening transom, two private staterooms, three electric winches, a large galley, a shoal draft keel, all with great sailing performance and gorgeous lines. Other than one year cruising in the Bahamas, she has spent every winter in indoor heated storage at New England’s finest boatyards. Easily singlehanded with in-mast mainsail furling, all sail control lines are led aft to the cockpit. Owned by the same knowledgeable yachting family since new, she is a boat with no excuses.

INTERIOR LAYOUT:
SEREIA boasts a large interior layout for 42’. Her interior is finished in Herreshoff style with white bulkheads and gleaming varnished solid mahogany trim throughout, solid varnished mahogany doors and solid teak & holly sole. She can sleep 7 in comfort with 3 double berths and 1 single berth. The interior is heated via a Webasto diesel heating system throughout. The countertops are Corian & mahogany, and the new cushions are blue with green piping. There is ample LED lighting throughout with recessed ceiling lighting with dimmers and courtesy night lights low to the sole. In 2012, SEREIA was sent back to Bruckmann Yachts where her entire interior was revarnished to perfection.
Starting aft, there is a quarter berth to starboard and large private stateroom with double berth to port. Forward of the quarter berth is a navigation station with U-shape settee with hi-lo table that converts to a double berth immediately forward. To port is a large “Alley galley.” Starboard and forward of the main salon is the head with electric toilet, vanity, sink, and wet locker. All the way forward is a private stateroom with a large v-berth and plenty of storage.
Aft Stateroom:
Large aft stateroom with double berth (2024, new mattress) and plenty of storage in aircraft lockers and drawers. Ventilation provided by 2 opening ports, 1 overhead hatch, and fan. There are 110-volt outlets.
