OVERVIEW

“Water Wagon” was believed to have been custom ordered as a ride boat for the 1939 World’s Fair but was never used for that purpose. The original owner had the boat shipped to Lake Tahoe. Chris Craft records show it is the second “torpedo” style flush deck 27-footer ever built and one of only 5 built in 1939 with this hull design. Originally powered by a Chris Craft Model A-120 V8 engine, the largest engine option offered by Chris Craft at that time period, she is now powered by a Chevrolet Performance Big Block engine, custom built for Water Wagon. The boat was professionally restored in California and remains in excellent condition to this day.
