OVERVIEW

SYMPHONY V is one of the finest Hinckley sailboats ever produced.  Originally built for a well known and highly respected yachtsman, this hinckley 52 has numerous custom features which set her apart from the other boats in the series. And she has been maintained to the nines to be sure she remains one of the best, if not the best, example of her class. This service has been delivered by Dodson Boatyard in Stonington, CT – one of the best boatyards on the east coast.

While she is appreciated by all as an absolute beauty, he sailing qualities are exceptional. SYMPHONY V was built with the intention of being a great singlehander and also a capable, and very comfortable, world cruiser.  She has proven that she can accomplish either role with aplomb, although she still awaits that trip around the world.  In fact, she has generally been lightly used and as a result, she shows little wear and tear.

She has the preferred and very luxurious two cabin layout and boasts a number of great features – Carbon main mast and boom, electric in-mast mainsail furling, retractable bow thruster, generator (2022) and air-conditioning, a luxurious 2-stateroom interior with many custom details, recent sails and electronics – the list goes on.

She has benefitted from indoor storage where she receives annual pampering – varnish, hull polish, smooth deck surfaces waxed, canvas and sails cleaned and serviced, and regular maintenance of all systems and equipment, right down to the sea cocks.  No service has been neglected.  She is ready to set sail for the Caribbean this fall or to take you on your next New England cruise and needs nothing to do either trip.

If you are looking for a turn-key vessel that turns heads and a will wow you every time you go aboard, SYMPHONY V may just be the right boat for you.  We highly recommend SYMPHONY V and welcome your inspection while she is still in the water and in full commission.

NOTE:  Preliminary listing – some details TBA and all details to be verified. Engine and generator hours are estimated on previous readings and will be verified shortly.
