After the alision , the owner had the boat inspected and a thermal imaging was performed detailing the areas of damage. Hinckley Yachts removed all of the damaged fiberglass and disassembled the adjoining interior spaces and placed components in a container and the boat was placed in a shed. Instead of losing a summer season, the owner decided to purchase another boat, and sold “RICOCHET” to its current owner. The current owner hired a well known Naval Architect Patrick Dupuis of Murray and Associates and Reid Fleming of Fleming Composites to completed the fiberglass repair. The interior and joinery work was performed by master carpenter Chris Weingarth of Senko Yacht Interiors. Hinckley of Stuart painted the entire boat in August.
