The Morris Yachts 36, designed by Sparkman & Stephens, is a 36′ traditional, classic styled boat intended for short or single-handed sailing. Whether you are going for a day sail or a weekend, this S&S design produced with Morris Yachts quality and the latest in engineering materials will deliver performance sailing that is fun, comfortable, and simple. It is a classically designed yacht of moderate proportions, timeless sheer and long graceful overhangs. A modest cabin is incorporated into the design which contains a day head, a galley with galley with sink, refrigerator and storage space for provisions. The port and starboard settees are carefully designed for lounging or sleeping. Generous storage can be found in the forepeak. An alternative layout converts the forepeak space into a v-berth.

Morris 34 Standard Equipment Hull – Deck – Built to the highest specifications using Reichold Hydrex resin andquadaxial E-glass laminate. Our gelcoat is the highest marinegrade of ISO NPG. Decks are balsa cored. All areas for thrufastenings are solid fiberglass. Layout – Port side head, V-berth, two main cabin berths, galley to port, navigation station and quarter berth to starboard. Colors – Bright white hull and deck, Morris blue bootstripe, light tan nonskid and Pettit ACP60 bottom paint. Finish – White Formica bulkheads with oiled teak trim and 1-4″ solid teak plank cabin sole, white Formica berth faces and galley trunk cabin sides and overhead. Engine – Yanmar 2GN 18hp marine diesel with fresh water cooling, Racor secondary fuel filter, 24 gallon fuel tank, single lever control and instrument panel with gauges. Spars – White awlgrip stainless steel hardware and internal reefing. Rigging – 1 x l9 x1-4″ stainless steel wire, double braided sheets, New England Rope Sta-set X external halyards, Topping lift and Jiffy reefing, two Lewmar #10 halyard winches, two Lewmar 40 self-tailing primary winches, reefing winch and Lewmar 16 self-tailing main sheet winch. Electrical – Two 100 amp 12V deep cycle marine batteries, circuit breaker panel with voltmeter, master switch and main breaker, tin-coated copper wiring, copper grounding system for standing rigging and engine, seven 12V dome cabin lights, bow and deck lights, pulpit-mounted bow and stem navigation lights. Equipment – Bulkhead-mounted cockpit compass, nine stainless steel opening ports with screens, Lewmar cabin top hatches, two-burner propane stove with oven, top-loading ice chest, stainless steel sink in galley with foot pump and head sink with fresh water pump, manual bilge pump, Marelon thru hulls, approved marine head with holding tank, 53 gallon water tank, teak toerails, hand rails and trunk cabin trim, CQR bow roller and chocks, stainless steel double 27″ lifelines with port and starboard gates, tiller steering and V-berth filler. Sails – We offer sails by North and Doyle and work closely with our customer and the loft to assure the proper selection of sails for your intended use.
