The Annie 29 was one of Chuck Paine’s favorite designs and was designed to be capable of crossing oceans while still being simple to sail on a nice afternoon.

“With low freeboard, a sharp bow, tall rig and sloped transom, the Annie 29 looks ready to take on most any sea with aplomb. Everything about it looks rugged yet graceful, from the bronze and stainless steel deck fittings to the elegant teak and mahogany trim. It is immediately clear why she has been included on classic sailboat lists worldwide. The closer you look, the more you notice the top-shelf construction materials and the masterful boat building. The Annie 29 radiates quality.” – David Liscio, Sailing.

Coming down the companionway there is a small functional galley to starboard and an enclosed head opposite to port.  Forward of the head and galley are full sleeping length settees with storage outboard and shelved at the forward ends and a fixed teak dropleaf table along midships.  The cabin continues forward to the v-berth with a hanging locker to starboard and drawers and lockers to port between the berth and settees, resulting in an open, light interior.
