OVERVIEW
SERENA is a nice example of the simplicity and craftsmanship that Tom Morris was known for in his early boats. The Morris Linda 28 was designed by Chuck Paine to be a fast and seakindly small cruising boat. She is set up for easy day sailing or coastal cruising but is sturdy and reliable for extended voyaging. This boat has had consistent care and light summer use in Maine. Easily seen in indoor storage at Hinckley Yacht Service in Southwest Harbor, Maine.

CONSTRUCTION:
Hull:
Morris constructed solid fiberglass hand laminated hull using Reichold Hydrex Vinylester resin and e-glass laminate.

Deck:

COCKPIT:

ACCOMMODATIONS:
SERENA has a light, open interior finished off in Herreshoff style with teak trim accenting white bulkheads and overhead. The cushions are an attractive green Ultrasuede fabric. The cabin sole is oiled teak. A large overhead opening hatch combined with opening portlights and a dorade vent provide abundant natural light.
There is a quarterberth to port of the companionway and galley to starboard. Forward of the galley and quarterberth are two settee berths in the main salon. The forward cabin is separated from the main salon by an enclosed head to port and a hanging wet locker opposite to starboard.
GALLEY:
The small but functional galley to starboard has Formica countertops with teak fiddles and trim
