OVERVIEW
Yachting elegance is on full display in the Sabre 45 Salon
Express, is a handsome Downeast cruiser with an emphasis on
luxury and technology. Boasting modern pod drive propulsion and
state-of-the-art construction, the accommodations include two
staterooms and two en suite heads with stall showers. From the
cockpit forward through the salon the main living areas on the
same level. The galley is two steps down from the bridge deck,
bathed in natural light from the windshield. A unique feature is
the utility space located between the engine room and the guest
stateroom for the installation of optional accessories like a gyro
stabilizer, washer/dryer, additional freezers or wine chillers. The
45 has two Stidd helm seats, facing settees (one L-shaped and
the other straight), an electronically opening aft bulkhead window,
varnished cherry interior and a teak-and-holly sole.
The sliding deck door at the helm is a plus, and
a centerline hatch opens the the cockpit sole to the engineroom. A
retractable sun screen covers the entire cockpit seating area. Volvo
435hp IPS 600 diesels cruise in the low to mid 20s (close to 30
knots wide open).
