OVERVIEW

MOON REACH is a beautiful example of the Morris Ocean Series 46RS that was built for an experienced yachtsman and has been continuously updated and kept in excellent condition by all three of her owners.  The 46 Raised Salon built on the success of the Ocean Series 46 using the same hull but incorporating a center cockpit, raised salon deck layout that adds additional interior space and a separate full width aft master cabin with private head.  The raised salon brings additional light into the interior and increases storage and tankage on boat for extended cruising.  Beautiful details like marble and granite countertops combined with mahogany trim and custom cabinetry and heirloom quality artisanship result in a stunning interior.

Moon Reach is set up for easy shorthanded sailing with her electric winches and Leisurefurl main boom and her large, comfortable cockpit is protected by a custom bimini.  The sail plan is designed with a large main and smaller, 105% jib which makes tacking much easier than with larger genoas.  She has been used lightly summers in New England most of her life and is currently moored in Windmill Harbor, a fresh water, protected marina on Hilton Head Island where she is ready for the coming season she is an excellent value for a quality boat equally capable of easy daysailing and extended cruising.
